Yoga & Mindful Movement Practices

Mind-Body connection for better brain health

Yoga & Mindful Movement

Mindful movement practices such as yoga, when practiced mindfully, can be a powerful way to regulate your autonomic nervous system.

I am grateful to yoga, as it was my gateway into deepening my mindfulness practices, teaching and research.

I used to teach yoga at 7 am before heading to work at the hospital, and on weekends.

I now integrate yoga and mindful movement practices into the BRA(i)NS® program for a healthier brain and autonomic nervous system.

Build Your Mind-Body Connection

Mindful movement practices can be an accessible way to strengthen your mind and body connection.

The Mind-Body connection helps you tune into your autonomic nervous system, and utilise skills to balance this.

The Joy of Movement

Movement when used skilfully can be nourishing and therapeutic for our brains and bodies.

I help you find peace and joy with a movement practice as part of the BRA(i)NS® program.

These work well with mindfulness and breathwork practices.

Not sure what expectations I had trying Yoga, however the way Sui teaches it and her attention to form and positioning, but most importantly her ability to make newbies like me welcome has been really inspirational

I started my journey of meditation, mindfulness and exercise with Sui. Her calm, gentle and kind manner made this transition a simple one. Under her guidance, I have been able to integrate it into my daily routine. Thank you Sui, for this wonderful gift.

I have seen several practitioners over the last year and a half to get help for a very painful, unstable ankle. I have been lucky enough to have been treated by Sui who has been supportive, creative and knowledgeable. Thank you, Sui for giving me a progressive exercise program over the past 4 months that has built and maintained strength in my ankle. It hasn’t felt this good in a long time.

Sui's segmental spinal stretching workshop was incredibly helpful for me. She is a brilliant teacher who imparts really useful, practical knowledge in her classes and I have found it really useful thinking about how to incorporate what I learned into my daily life. I would highly recommend this workshop and would definitely attend again.

- Ellie

Sui brings to this workshop a wealth of movement practices complementary to yoga - delivered in her intelligent, charismatic, and clear style. The techniques covered allow you to focus on your spine, moving and lubricating the joints literally one vertebra at a time, through stretching and strength exercises - most of which were completely non-intuitive to me. I was amazed at how mobile I could encourage my spine to be and how relaxed, stronger - and taller! - I felt after the class.

- James

Sui's recent Animal Flow workshop did not fail to be both fun and challenging. While many of the poses will seem familiar, the combination of different disciplines and dynamic movement will not fail to push you out of your physical comfort zone to really test your control and stability. The fact that Sui is a great instructor - passionate and dedicated, with a great sense of humour, only adds to the fun of this class.

Dr Wong really helped me using visualisation techniques and hypnosis to fight cancer and as treatment progressed to help me cope with invasive procedures, scans and chemotherapy/immunotherapy treatment.

She was invaluable to my long road to recovery and her professionalism and caring nature put me at ease from the start.

I could not recommend her more highly.
