Mindfulness

Mindfulness is a method of training our minds on how we pay attention, beyond just being in moment. This approach can have tremendous benefits for brain health and wellbeing.

I am passionate about mindfulness, dedicated to mindfulness research in neurological conditions.

I see first-hand the benefits of mindfulness in my medical research and clinical practice, and want to extend the reach of its benefits in a practical way for the public. With this, I published a book on Mindfulness for Brain Health i

Mindfulness is delivered through the BRA(i)NS® program.

Breathwork

Breathwork is one of the foundational practices for health and wellbeing. Breathwork practices range from the mindfulness lens of the observation of breath, to activation of different breathing patterns for specific purposes. Practices include breathwork for emotional regulation; brain training; or balancing your autonomic nervous system.

I am a certified Oxygen Advantage practitioner, having trained with Patrick McKeown i , which examined the scientific basis and application of breathwork in sports and day-to-day optimal health. I have also completed Jill Miller’s Body by Breath Immersion course i , translating the science of breathwork into practices for physical and emotional resilience.

Breathwork is an integral part of the BRA(i)NS® program.

Neurolinguistic Programming (NLP) & Hypnotherapy

I am certified in NLP, hypnosis and hypnotherapy.

The mind-body connection is important for our body’s ability to heal. Tapping into the mind-body connection is beneficial for performance enhancement – whether on the athletic field, performing on stage, or at work – and for optimal brain health.

Visualization and relaxation using techniques of NLP and hypnosis can facilitate this, delivered via the BRA(i)NS® program.
